As the Conroe Art League approaches its 48th year with its move to the Madeley Building to become a significant part of downtown Conroe’s arts district, we want to thank present and former Conroe city officials, The Conroe Commission on Arts and Culture, community leaders, present and former CAL board members and others who encouraged us to continue the pursuit of a centrally located permanent art center. It is their wisdom and belief in our organization that continues to move us forward.
The greater Conroe area’s goal is to be a culturally rich tourist destination. We will work to make sure our new space provides a showcase of fine artists and relevant educational and community outreach opportunities which can be enjoyed by both visitors and residents.
