We are open Tuesday through Saturday

11:00 am - 4:00 pm.

Docent Shifts are 11:00 - 1:30 and 1:30 - 4:00

General Meetings begin at 4:00pm, followed by the art demo at 4:30pm. The Artist Reception runs from 5:30 to 7:00pm.

 QUARTERLY BANNER AWARD

The winner of the quarterly Banner Award is Teri Clark for her piece "The Lookout".  The banner is now hanging in the courtyard,  Come by and check it out.

Help keep the excitement going! If you’d like to see the JC Award program continue, consider donating to the JC Award Fund. Each month, gallery visitors vote for their favorite artwork — and the winning artist receives a $400 prize. Your support directly celebrates creativity and inspires our artists!

Participate, Share, and Celebrate the Arts

STUDENTS AWARDS SHOW

Conroe Art League will award more than $11,500 at the Student Awards Show scheduled for Sunday, May 3rd, at 2:00 PM.   Come out and support these high school seniors.

In addition to the open show, there will be a $1000 award for the Adrianne Gerlach Memorial Art Scholarship for Best Western/Wildlife and an award in the amount of $300 for the Sherry Wagner Memorial Award for the theme Forever Cats.

New in 2026 are new ACM Foundation awards for Best Landscape $1,000, Best Portrait $1,000, and Best Animal $1,000.

CAL INTERNATIONAL 2026

COURTYARD SCULPTURE PROGRAM

Each sculpture must be at least 24" tall, able to withstand outdoor weather, and not present a danger of any kind.  There is no fee but you must work one docent shift.  To propose a piece contact Bob Heintzelman at rdheintz@hotmail.com.  You can read about the program here and the registration information is included on the Take-in/Out page

 

The sculpture on display this quarter is "She Becomes the Legend” by Angela Corson.  Visitors are invited to be write what they wish to be remembered for on a strip of fabric and place it on the sculpture.  Ribbons are available in the gallery.

STUDENT RAFFLE

Join the next student raffle at the General Meeting! Support Montgomery County high school seniors and art awards with a donation for your chance to win. Tickets available in person.

The next reception is May 2nd from 5:30 pm to 7:00 pm.

Jennifer Claussen is part of Quietly Made — a three-woman exhibition at The Woodlands Arts Council is on view until April 30th

Carol Scheferman received a 1st Place award for her oil painting, ‘Christine’ in the Northwest Art League Spring Show.

 

Katy ‘Rokit’ Scheferman received a 1st place in Abstracts for her painting ‘Kindred Spirits’ in the Northwest Art League Spring Show.

We have a new “Volunteer Hub” on the website listing immediate needs for special event volunteers.  We need members that are willing to bring food items, wine, and to help clean up at events like artists receptions, Artist in Action, Student Awards Show and the CAL Intl
