EVENTS Participate, Share, and Celebrate the Arts

Conroe Art League will award more than $11,500 at the Student Awards Show scheduled for Sunday, May 3rd, at 2:00 PM. Come out and support these high school seniors.
In addition to the open show, there will be a $1000 award for the Adrianne Gerlach Memorial Art Scholarship for Best Western/Wildlife and an award in the amount of $300 for the Sherry Wagner Memorial Award for the theme Forever Cats. New in 2026 are new ACM Foundation awards for Best Landscape $1,000, Best Portrait $1,000, and Best Animal $1,000.

COURTYARD SCULPTURE PROGRAM
|
Each sculpture must be at least 24" tall, able to withstand outdoor weather, and not present a danger of any kind. There is no fee but you must work one docent shift. The sculpture on display this quarter is "She Becomes the Legend” by Angela Corson. Visitors are invited to be write what they wish to be remembered for on a strip of fabric and place it on the sculpture. Ribbons are available in the gallery.

We have a new “Volunteer Hub” on the website listing immediate needs for special event volunteers. We need members that are willing to bring food items, wine, and to help clean up at events like artists receptions, Artist in Action, Student Awards Show and the CAL Intl.
