MONTHLY GENERAL MEETING The next general meeting will be held on September 5th, 2026. Demo Artist will be Vickie McMillan-Hayes . Her discussion will be over “The Journey of a Working Artist: Creating, Evolving, Staying Relevant, and Building a Successful Art Business”
Join nationally acclaimed Western and wildlife artist Vickie McMillan-Hayes for an inspiring and practical look at what it takes to build and sustain a career as a working artist. From childhood drawings to a nationally recognized career, Vickie shares how creativity, perseverance, and a willingness to evolve have opened doors to galleries, museums, corporate commissions, public art, and unexpected creative opportunities.
Through stories, practical advice, and a live demonstration, she’ll explore developing a signature style, staying relevant, marketing and pricing artwork, finding exhibition opportunities, managing the business side of art, and embracing new materials and creative directions. Her journey demonstrates that a successful art career can extend far beyond the traditional canvas.

Terri paints the animals, landscapes, and fleeting moments that invite us to slow down, notice the beauty around us, and rediscover hope. Her work is inspired by the quiet evidence of God's care woven throughout creation, offering viewers a place to pause, reflect, and wonder.
