    Take-In is Tuesday, June 6th, from 11:00am to 4:00pm.   REGISTRATION CUT-OFF IS 6:00 PM ON MONDAY JUNE 5th.  This Exhibition will be on display in the CAL gallery throughout the month of June.

    Waiver & Donation Agreement: By paying the registration fees, artist agrees to the following:  release CAL and its representatives from any and all claims of damage, theft of any artwork/item on exhibit at the gallery; has read and agreed to the guidelines set forth in the CAL gallery policies How to show in the Gallery (which includes artwork rules); entry fees up to 48" wide-$10 each. Fees for diptych (2 pieces comprising one complete work) and triptych (3 pieces comprising one complete work) are based on the above fee scale if the complete work fits within the width listed.  2D art is not to exceed 48 inches in width and maximum weight is 30 pounds.  3D art is not to exceed 30 inches in depth by 30 inches wide and 48 inches high and maximum weight is 40 lbs.  3D art must fit on CAL window tables or pedestals.  Artist agrees that CAL will receive a donation for each piece sold during its exhibition in the Gallery at 20% of the purchase price. Artist will be paid for sold piece(s) within two (2) weeks after the exhibit closes, less the 20% donation amount. CAL will collect sales tax on all sales in the Gallery.

    Artist agrees to follow and adhere to all CAL guidelines, procedures, and By-Laws.  Failure to do so may result in removal of membership.

    Any unclaimed artwork/item left after the exhibit take-out date will be removed from the exhibition site and donated/disposed of IF NOT PICKED UP WITHIN 30 DAYS.

    There shall be no soliciting, fundraising, or promoting any organization or group other than CAL or organizations or groups that CAL is a member of.

                    This show is for art for sale with a price of < $150 to allow for affordable gift giving.  In addition, all CAL proceeds will go towards the student scholarships given in May.  No fee for hanging this month with a maximum number of entries of 3 per 1 docent shift.

                      Drop off/Pick up artwork inside the gallery.  Please have the following attached to the back of your artwork when you come:

                      You may register your 12x12 panel and deliver to the Gallery Manager as soon as you finish your panel, but not later than take-in on Tuesday, January 3rd, from 11:00am to 4:00pm.  NO WET WORK WILL BE ACCEPTED.  Registration closes at 6:00pm on January 1st.


                      This Exhibition will be on display in the CAL gallery throughout the month of January along with an on-line auction through January 27th.


                      Thank you so much for your time and talent!  All proceeds from the Auction will go to the High School Student Awards in May of 2024.

Fees for diptych (2 pieces comprising one complete work) and triptych (3 pieces comprising one complete work) are based on the above fee scale if the complete work fits within the width listed.  2D art is not to exceed 48 inches in width and maximum weight is 30 pounds.  3D art is not to exceed 30 inches in depth by 30 inches wide and 48 inches high and maximum weight is 40 lbs.  3D art must fit on CAL window tables or pedestals.  Artist agrees that CAL will receive a donation for each piece sold during its exhibition in the Gallery at 20% of the purchase price. Artist will be paid for sold piece(s) within two (2) weeks after the exhibit closes, less the 20% donation amount. CAL will collect sales tax on all sales in the Gallery.

                          Artist agrees to follow and adhere to all CAL guidelines, procedures, and By-Laws.  Failure to do so may result in removal of membership.

                          Any unclaimed artwork/item left after the exhibit take-out date will be removed from the exhibition site and donated/disposed of IF NOT PICKED UP WITHIN 30 DAYS.

                          There shall be no soliciting, fundraising, or promoting any organization or group other than CAL or organizations or groups that CAL is a member of.

                            Drop off/Pick up artwork inside the gallery.  Please have the following when you come:

                            1. Confirmation of registration
                            2. Docent sign up confirmation
                            3. Check (if paying by check). If you are paying by check, please have the check already made out to Conroe Art League in the correct amount.  

                            Take-In is Tuesday, from 11:00am to 4:00pm.   Deadline to register is 6:00pm on Monday, April 29th.  This Exhibition will be on display in the CAL gallery throughout the month.

                              2024 STUDENT AWARDS SHOW

                              Conroe Art League will award $10,000 at the Student Awards Show scheduled for Saturday, May 4th, from 6:00 to 8 PM. As many as twelve monetary awards may be awarded in the show category. 

                              In addition to the open show, there will be a $500 award for the Adrianne Gerlach Memorial Art Scholarship for Best Western/Wildlife and an award in the amount of $300 for the Sherry Wagner Memorial Award for the theme Forever Cats.  

                              A student does not have to be present to win. (But it would be nice!)

                              A student may win only one Student Award, but a student winning a Student Award may also win either the Adrianne Gerlach Memorial Scholarship or the Sherry Wagner Memorial Award. Conversely a student who wins either the Adrianne Gerlach or Sherry Wagner award is also eligible to win a Student Award. For example, the art winning the Adrianne Gerlach Award ($500) could also be awarded 1st place and $2,000.00 in the Student Awards. ($2,000 is used as an example, and the exact award amount is yet to be determined.)

                              The eligibility of a student is defined as a high school senior (the student does not have to be formally enrolled in an art class), who is attending a Montgomery County public, private or home-school. 

                              Take-in of the art will be at the art league on Friday, May 3rd, from 1 to 5 PM. Artwork must be delivered with a completed registration. 

                              More information about the awards and the reception will be announced as we get closer to the reception.

                              Teachers, families and friends are welcome to attend the reception and award announcements.
