12 x 12 Auctions

Every February we hold our 12 x 12 show, taking the place of the Open Members Show. Our members are given a 12” x 12” panel to create an original work to donate to the auction. The proceeds go to our Student Awards Show for High School Seniors to pursue further studies beyond high school.

Congratulations to our featured artists chosen to be the Select Twelve, including Melanie Bell, Nancy Binford, Lois Blackburne, Shirley Blevins, Glenna Bongirno, George Bramlett, Juan Cantavella, Wendy Mooreland, Debra Riley, Kristine Schneider, Bob Shepard, and Charles Wallis.  Special thanks to Cynthia Reid for judging this year's entries.

12 x 12 Artwork Slideshow-2022

The 2022 12x12 Auction was a great success raising more than 125% of our goal.  Total proceeds from the auction and monthly raffle items brought an income of over $10,000.  In May 2022, awards of $10,020 went to high school seniors in Montgomery County during the Student Art Show.  Thank you CAL members for your generous donation of your time and talent to create these beautiful 12x12 art pieces.
